Love the "experiment" framing. It opens up more freedom, creativity, and permission to explore.

Thanks Meredith! I’m a firm believer in running more (measured) experiments, and asking more questions… and our life will really change.

Amen! What fun is the scientific method if we can't apply it on ourselves from time to time? 😄

I enjoy that you made some visuals for this article, it summarizes and pulls out the key stages. By lowering the stakes using an experimental mindset, a physician can explore possible future directions safely while also sparking a new interest or skill.

Thanks for your comment Andrea, I appreciate that the visuals pulled out some of the key points! It's all about running small, low stakes experiments to generate real, useful data - rather than relying purely on gut-feeling or introspection - and taking that data to iterate and run another experiment. This gets you on the path to your desired future state!
